Suzanne Pleshette (born June 25 1944) was an American actor, voice-over artist and writer. She had over one hundred credits in her almost five decades of career. Pleshette is an New York native who began her acting career on stage. Then she made her transition to film. The most well-known films of Pleshette include "Rome Adventure", "The Birds", "Fate Is the Hunter" and "If It's Tuesday, This Must Be Belgium" and "Support Your Gunfighter in the Local Area. Apart from her films, she has played numerous TV films as well as shows. Pleshette received 4 Emmy Awards nominations and was not only nominated for two Golden Globe Awards. Pleshette received two nominations and won an award, the Laurel Award, in 1963 for her film "The Birds.' The death of Pleshette in 2008 led to an award posthumously conferred to her Star along the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
